The idea to sell my home and studio and build a multi-use building where I could live, work and have rental income was spawned during a world-wide pandemic. After one false start, working with an architect for a few months in 2019 I put the idea on hold. Would I even be alive to see what I started finished? Could I avoid being felled by Covid-19?
A year and a half later I was still around, and was ready to begin. Luckily, I discovered an architect and builder whom I have total trust and faith in. It is now December 2021 and the building I was scheduled to move into this month is still not finished due to construction and supply and setbacks. But the exterior painting is finished. It’s kind of like a new present waiting for me to unwrap…hopefully by February 2022
